This was such a great YA read! I loved it! West, is the first book in From the Wreckage series in his pov. It can also be read as a stand alone. I dont usually read the males pov till last so I did it a bit different this time and felt no confusion what so ever. This is a gripping story about loss, guilt, love and overcoming the things that hold us back in life. West and Jules have known each other for a long time but after West lost his mom to cancer, he isolated himself from almost everyone he used to be friends with. When he and Jules end up in the same place at the same time and a tornado almost kills them, it changes everything between the two estranged friends. West, starts questioning all the things he cared about but gave up after his mom died, including the way he felt about Jules. He finds his feelings for her are strong and undeniable but a couple things stand in his way of telling her, the feeling hes not worthy and her boyfriend.Product details

WEST A From The Wreckage Novel eBook Michele G Miller Samantha EatonRoberts Reviews
Loved it just as much as From the Wreckage, but I'm partial to West to begin with. It was fun to relive FTW without being exactly the same!
You can not read this book and not feel every emotion the main characters feel. I always enjoy reading the story again in the guy's POV and this book makes the story of Jules and West complete. If you haven't read the complete Wreckage series I highly recommend you do. Its one of those series that you fall in love with everyone of the characters and you can read it again and again. Happy reading!!
I loved being able to get West's point of view. It was everything I didn't know I wanted and more!
This book is the pov from West, the "hero" in the From the Wreckage series. Michele nailed the male perspective. I could feel West's struggles as a young teen in dealing with his mother's death and then as a young man dealing with Jules and the tornado.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the From the Wreckage Series makes me feel - and West didn't disappoint.
If you have read From the Wreckage you need to read this book. To get in the head of West Rutledge was more than a delight. If you haven't read From the Wreckage, then you definitely need to read this book and meet your next book boyfriend. But I'm warning you, he may ruin you for all other book boyfriends. That's how amazing this guy is and how amazing Michele G. Miller crafted this story. Seriously a great read that will give you all the feels.
Absolutely in love with West's heart. Michele did such a great job showing you his inner struggles...with his past and now his present. When reading Jules POV, you always wonder what West is thinking or what he is doing or why he can't seem to let Jules love him. West gives you a glimpse into his deepest secrets and helps you see that he has so much more going on than just trying to rebuild his life after the storm.
I am a Michelle G Millet fan. I love and read all her books. However, West is just captivating. After reading the From the Wreckage books, I had to find out more about this great author. I am so glad she completed this book. I truly missed West and Jules. West is so real, insecure, handsome and his words and thoughts are so inspiring. I recommend 100%. Tasteful and lovely! Thank you Michelle. Keep on writing always.
